Worked on Happy Birthday this week. Trying real hard to look at the sheet music and play note by note. I hate it though because it's harder, I can play it better just by memorizing which key to hit versus actually knowing which key I'm playing. But I guess that's not really learning.
Good for you! And you're right, although forcing yourself to think of each note and it's name can be tricky (and take longer) it will be better in the long run. Keep up the good work!
